Deceiving by Example

‘Leading by example’ has been a strategy of lockdown propagandists. Politicians, journalists, and fake experts have been wearing masks (sometimes two) and staying at home as much as they can to show the public the importance of these behaviors. Not all politicians and propagandists have been doing this, however. Have you ever seen Bill Gates wear a mask? The premier of Manitoba, Canada admitted that provincial social distancing rules don’t apply to anyone with a government job!

By practicing what they preach, propagandists make their violations of rights appear more acceptable. In a nauseating development of virtue signalling, it is now common for politicians to wear masks in official photos, such as on their Twitter accounts. They also brag that they don’t socialize, don’t travel, and seldom leave their homes. We just have to take their word for that, of course. Countless times, lockdown propagandists have been caught breaking their own rules. Not surprisingly, their followers don’t even care. Covidists have unconditional faith in their masters, and it is not a faith based on reason.

Politicians often stay six feet apart from others when they are on camera. News anchors and television show hosts also sit six feet apart to let us know how committed they are to the COVID recommendations that they extol. By seeing lockdown apologists practice what they preach, people are more inclined to adopt the ridiculous behaviors themselves.

Child Propaganda

A considerable amount of lockdown propaganda is aimed at children. Much of it relates to wearing masks or attending school virtually. The material directed at children has the same messages as adult material and accentuates that COVID restrictions are important for safety.

It is deeply troubling that we are putting children through The Terror of lockdowns and masking. The young generation has been sacrificed so adults can keep up appearances of being woke (the only reason COVID restrictions exist). In past generations, parents have sacrificed for their children, fought in World Wars and scrounged for their children’s education. Generation X and Y make their children sacrifice for them!

Also troubling is the indoctrination that we are putting children through. They are receiving Spartan training to obey adults like they are military cadets. They watch TV with their parents and become brainwashed into the cult of blind obedience of false authority figures. They are not developing properly due to forced isolation and face coverings which inhibit affective communication. I shudder to think of what kind of adults they will become and how they will treat their future children.

Comparison with Spanish Flu

As soon as SARS-CoV-2 began appearing outside of China in early 2020, there was frequent talk of the outbreak being Spanish Flu 2. The media worked the Spanish Flu comparison hard in the first few months of the pandemic.

The Spanish flu, or influenza of 1918, was a global pandemic in 1918-1919. At a time when there were under two billion people in the world, this flu infected a few hundred million and claimed the lives of 17 to 100 million (50 million being the most commonly cited fatality figure). Many of the people who died were young, healthy adults. In fact, the average age of death was only 28. Undeniably, the Spanish flu was a tragic episode that no one would want to happen again.

To instill people with panic and coerce them to give up their freedom, lockdown propagandists have often compared SARS-CoV-2 to the Spanish flu. They have especially tried to convince people that SARS-CoV-2 has comparable mortality with the 1918 influenza, a patently false comparison. The same journalists that make this comparison almost always explicitly state that everyone needs to give up their freedom in order to avoid Spanish Flu 2020. From Vox: “The Covid-19 situation may only get [as bad as the Spanish flu] if we fail to adequately adopt measures like social distancing, aggressive testing, and quarantining, and let it get that bad.”

In April 2021, the official world death toll from COVID-19 reached 3 million. Since the average age of death is in the early 80s, compared to the 20s for the 1918 flu, it is debatable whether most COVID-19 deaths are even bad. Only elderly people with pre-existing conditions die from COVID, with a few exceptions. The virus is probably net positive by preventing these people from degenerating in misery. It spares them from slowly, painfully dying of horrible diseases like Alzheimers and cancer.

It must be noted that a large portion of deaths attributed to “COVID-19” are fraudulent. An audit of death certificates in Minnesota found that 40% of official COVID-19 deaths were clearly not due to COVID-19. In Canada, deaths from all causes in 2020 decreased by approximately the same amount of deaths from COVID-19 — the government is literally labelling deaths as COVID falsely. Actual deaths from COVID would also be far lower if the government and media didn’t do everything possible to prevent infected people from being given medicine.

A USA Today article from August 2020 called SARS-CoV-2 deadlier than the 1918 influenza! An emergency physician was quoted in the article about people being in denial about COVID being worse than the Spanish flu because they think of pandemics and plagues as being things that only happened in the past. If you don’t think COVID-19 is a plague of Biblical proportions, you are in denial according to Dr. Jeremy Faust!

1918 Flu: mid-range estimate (58 million)  x 4 = 232 million to adjust for 4x increase in world population.
SARS-CoV-2: 3 million – 40% to factor in misattributions = 1.8 million

Summoning memories of the tragic 1918 flu that killed tens of millions is a brazen attempt at terrifying people into surrendering their most basic rights. The Guardian exemplifies this propaganda tactic in the article, “ ‘The country is adrift’: echoes of Spanish flu as Brazil’s Covid-19 catastrophe deepens”, June, 2020:

“So many people died that families would leave people outside on the pavements, and early each morning the carts would come by to collect them and take them off to burial in mass graves,” remembered Varella, who would go on to become Brazil’s best-known doctor… There are uncanny and painful parallels between the impact of the Spanish flu – which historians say killed between 35,000 and 100,000 Brazilians – and the harm coronavirus is now inflicting.

Variants are, like, a Whole New Pandemic

Since the fall of 2020, lockdown propagandists have been telling us that a major human kill off is around the corner because of some new coronavirus variant. They like to say the variant came from another country to make it sound scarier, like an invasion: “The deadly Brazilian variant has now reached British shores. It is the end for us all!”

Viruses are constantly mutating, and that’s not necessarily a bad thing. The H1N1 flu virus that killed 50 million people in 1918-1919 is still around, but it is no longer dangerous anymore because it mutated into a more benign form.

In 2021, rulers have moved beyond simply stating that new variants are terrifyingly lethal. They are now claiming that the variants are in fact new viruses heralding new pandemics. German Chancellor Angela Merkel declared in March 2021 that the lockdown will extend to mid-April because the “British variant” (of course… scarier if it’s foreign) is a “new virus” which has caused a “new pandemic.” In April 2021, officials in Quebec City, Canada announced that there was a “new pandemic” due to new variants of SARS-CoV-2 found in 70% of positive cases.

After a long, hard shift on the wards, hospital workers deserve to relax with family, have fun with friends, and enjoy their pastimes.

Of course, every new pandemic requires a tightening of restrictions on living, according to the lockdown apologists. There are thousands of mutations of SARS-CoV-2. There will be thousands more. Every week, propagandists on the news tell us that a new variant is much deadlier yet the death rate for COVID only goes down. When will people stop believing that the sky is falling?

In an April 2021 interview, Michael Yeadon debunks the myth that variants cause new pandemics. People who contracted SARS in 2003 are immune to SARS-CoV-2, which is 20% different. Variants of SARS-CoV-2 which differ from the Wuhan strain by up to 0.3%, are too similar to cause an infection in someone previously exposed to SARS or any strain of SARS-CoV-2.

Dr. Wolfgang Wodarg believes that the most frequently-cited study indicating that the Delta variant is deadlier that the wild virus conflated deaths from the vaccines with deaths from the variant.

Burying Lockdown Protests

There have been many protests against lockdowns, mask mandates, and mandatory COVID vaccination around the world, especially in 2021. But few people are aware of them due to them being ignored by the media. Even large protests with thousands of people regularly go unreported. People erroneously assume that anything newsworthy will be reported by the news media. In reality, the press strategically cherry picks the ‘news that’s fit to print’ in order to present a specific view of the world. You never hear about a problem “disproportionately affecting” men, for instance. Regarding anti-lockdown protests, the media either use the opportunity to slander and spread rumors about the human rights activists or don’t report on the rally at all.

Since people don’t see the protests reported on the news, they assume that there are no lockdown protests. By burying the existence of these protests, the press are intentionally deceiving people into thinking that there is unanimous support for the COVID restrictions. It is common for large lockdown protests against lockdowns to go unreported even by the local media. On March 20, 2021, the Freedom Rally took place. There were large anti-lockdown protests all over the world. On April 24, 2021, there was a protest of hundreds of thousands in London. Even these mega-protests went unreported in the media. You can only find out about them through Twitter, Gab, Parler, or Telegram. An excellent source is the Telegram channel Freedom Warriors.

Failure to report protests against the government’s handling of the pandemic is one more devious tool used by journalists to coerce the public into accepting their totalitarian mass torture agenda.

Q: What are all those purple and white dots between the trees?

A: 650,000 Londoners protesting against COVID restrictions, April 24, 2021. This protest was not reported by the world’s media.

Firefighters in Calgary, Canada protesting a vaccine mandate. The Canadian media either ignores protests against the pseudo-vaccines or portrays the protesters as mentally ill, murderous neo-Nazis.

Do it for the Healthcare Workers!

‘Support the troops’ is an age-old glittering generality used to justify war and shut down dissent. When the United States wanted to invade Iraq in the early 2000s, domestic critics were accused of ‘not supporting the troops.’ Certainly, once the war began in 2003, any critics of the invasion, which is now universally regarded as an epic error, were briskly slapped with the ‘You’re not supporting the troops!” charge — a big deal in a country that reveres its military.

There is another institution of society that is highly revered by all walks of life and can be used to justify controversial policy — healthcare. Propagandists have presented lockdowns as somehow benefiting ‘front-line’ healthcare workers. They fail to even explain how lockdowns are good for healthcare workers. Presumably, by isolating ourselves, we will not get a coronavirus infection and stay out of the hospital, which 1) prevents us from passing on the infection to the holy league of nurses, and 2) keeps front-line hospital workers’ hours to reasonable levels.

This tactic plays up the common belief that healthcare workers, particularly the ones providing care directly to patients, are somehow of a higher moral order than the rest of us. That is nonsense. People enter healthcare fields primarily for money, job security, and status. Altruistic people are more concerned with irreplaceable actions such as working in the oil industry to enable them to make sizable donations. Neither are healthcare workers providing the most essential service in society. That honor goes to workers in the agricultural chain such as farmers, truck drivers, and grocery clerks, that keep us from starving.

Britain has driven this tactic into the ground. “Protect the NHS” (National Health Service) has been a motto of the government since they commenced restrictions. The UK has an almost religious reverence for their dear NHS. Britain’s leading historian, David Starkey, has even surmised that Boris Johnson initiated lockdowns in the first place so voters  would see him as ‘pro-NHS.’

Politicians have taken advantage of the limited knowledge and inferential cognitive processes of citizens by giving them information that they know will result in the formation of incorrect conclusions.

Many countries have played up the ‘do it for the nurses’ angle. Most of the time this tactic is found in cheesy ads or commercials. It is less common to see it in articles and interviews because it is an empty argument and won’t withstand questioning. For instance, British Columbia ran commercials telling people they should give up Christmas with family because front-line healthcare workers give up their Christmas every year for us. That is not true. Hospital workers celebrate Christmas and other holiday celebrations with their families every year. If they have a long shift on Christmas day, as does a large portion of the workforce, they can celebrate on another day or before/after their shift.

Very few hospital workers have gotten sick with COVID from patient contact and the ones that have rarely have serious cases because they are under 60 years old and in good health. There is no validity to the notion that making yourself a shut-in is somehow helping healthcare workers. On the contrary, social distancing seriously harms healthcare workers. People that work in hospitals have friends and family of their own, friends and family that are neglecting them in order to follow the COVID recommendations.

Avoiding social contact is a cruel and selfish practice because it causes others (including healthcare workers) to be deprived of social contact. After a long, hard shift on the wards, hospital workers deserve to relax with family, have fun with friends, and enjoy their pastimes. Lockdowns directly harm them and prevent them from coping with stress, resulting in compromised mental health and poor job performance. Many healthcare workers are vehemently opposed to lockdowns themselves, but they are being silenced by the perpetrators of this crime against humanity.

Hospital Building

Politicians know that the public has limited information on any given subject. They know that people piece together the limited information that they acquire on a subject to form a conclusion and much of this process involves inference.

Politicians have taken advantage of the limited knowledge and inferential cognitive processes of citizens by giving them information that they know will result in the formation of incorrect conclusions. For instance, by forcing people to wear masks, politicians know that people will infer “Coronavirus must be super dangerous since we have to wear masks.” By shutting down healthcare, they know that the ignorant masses will assume that COVID patients must have saturated the healthcare system so there is no capacity to treat other conditions.

Erecting emergency hospitals for COVID patients is a spectacle intended to influence people to infer that hospitals must be overburdened from COVID. Hospitals have never been overburdened by COVID patients, however. Neither have intensive care units. (See Full Hospital Hoax). But most people don’t know that.

Politicians lie about ICUs and hospitals being overburdened from COVID, and to seal the deal, they build emergency hospitals for the overflow of COVID patients that doesn’t exist. It is an act of theatre. They know that people will see the hospitals being erected on television and freak out: “So many people are critically ill from COVID that they need to build huge hospitals to treat them all! COVID is so dangerous, we can never leave the house!”

The UK spent over 200 million pounds building a series of temporary hospitals for COVID patients. These include seven Nightingale Hospitals in England, as well facilities in Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. By April 2021, after approximately one year in service, only two of the hospitals ever saw any patients — 154 patients combined. Even those patients could have been treated using existing hospital capacity, however.

Hundreds of field hospitals have been constructed around the world to allegedly treat COVID patients in 2020. They have all sat empty, seeing virtually no patients, since the healthcare systems had enough capacity to treat all of the COVID patients. But the widely-publicized existence of these facilities makes people infer that they are necessary because they have misplaced trust in their politicians and wouldn’t expect that the facilities were only intended for show.

Speed Up in the Final Lap

Since vaccines have started being rolled out in late 2020, propagandists have often played the ‘final lap’ card: “We have begun mass vaccination, so we are now in the final lap of the pandemic. It is more important than ever to self-isolate so we will get to the finish line quicker!”

‘Last lap,’ ‘final stretch,’ ‘light at the end of the tunnel,’ are some of the expressions used by propagandists to encourage people to be more brutal in isolating themselves. The argument goes that since the end of the pandemic is in sight, if we start living like human beings again, we will lose the progress that we supposedly made by distancing in the past. Also, more intensive isolation will get us to ZeroCOVID sooner, along with vaccines.

The first batch of vaccines has arrived in Singapore and vaccinations have already begun. We can now see light at the end of the tunnel. But it will still take some time for enough people to be vaccinated before we are safe from another major uncontrolled outbreak. In the meantime, we must maintain discipline, and continue with safe distancing and all the other precautions that we have been taking.

Lee Hsien, Prime Minister of Singapore

Not all propagandists use the technique. Many are pushing for restrictions to last for years to come, disqualifying them from playing the ‘last lap’ card. It is important to realize that in March 2020, lockdowns were supposed to be a one-time, brief event. There was only ever supposed to be one lap! Wales Primes Minister Mark Drakeford told the Welsh people that they had “one more lap” before restrictions ended in June 2020, yet restrictions continue in 2021.

The final lap ploy is essentially a trick to make people think that restrictions will end soon, so as to discourage resistance, while simultaneously persuading them to isolate more intensely.

Glorification of Covidist Leaders

What is a universal feature of cults? One is the glorification of the leaders of the cult. Covidism is no different. There has been a concerted effort to lift up the prominent proponents of COVID restrictions to superhero status. Cults are all about suppression of the logical mind. A powerful way of accomplishing that and securing unquestioned submission to the cult leaders is to present the leaders as super-human. If people view someone as divine, they will happily follow her despite every logical reason persuading them otherwise.

The media’s exaltation of the proponents of The Terror has been very successful. People see these apologists as representatives of the divine and rejoice in their holy advice of imprisoning humanity. Anthony Fauci has deity status among Covidists, as does Bonnie Henry (below), the public health officer for BC, Canada. Both of these villains are immortalized in merchandise and art. Covidists in Britain exalt their Terror apologists, as well.

Deification of the cult leaders has been invaluable in the mass brainwashing campaign. The only explanation people have given to me as to why they support The Terror is that their Covidist leader ‘said so’. Followers know that their doctrine makes no sense so their only defence is to cite their infallible master. “Bonnie Henry says to stay home, so you stay home! The Holy One always knows what is best!”

The leader-worship in Covidism makes is very hard to awaken followers. If you show these people that they are wrong to support COVID restrictions, not only will they need to swallow their pride that they have been wrong for so long, they will also have to admit to themselves that their saviour is actually a villain. What could possibly be harder than that?

Declaring a State of Emergency

Democracy, scrutiny of public policy, and open public discourse are only appropriate in ‘normal’ times, right? That is certainly a prevailing attitude. Recognizing the popularity of this view, heads of government have declared an official state of emergency to deal with SARS-CoV-2.

Of course, declaring an emergency was a necessary step to get away with their mass psychological torture operation, but it also serves a powerful psycho-political purpose. An “emergency” is not the time to question your government or voice concerns over outrageous violations of human rights. An emergency is a time to obey your rulers’ every fiendish whim without saying a word. That has been the view of government during the pandemic. They successfully played up the ‘emergency’ angle in order to suppress all dissent.

Presidents have discovered that declaring wars and emergencies is a way of grasping greater executive power at the expense of Congress.

There is little time and opportunity for policy deliberation because, after all, we are at war.

David Davenport & Gordon Lloyd, How Public Policy Became War

The state of emergency ploy has also been instrumental in deluding the public into trusting that COVID restrictions will be short-lived. The word ‘emergency’ implies temporary and short-term. However, governments have either extended their initial coronavirus state of emergency indefinitely or given themselves permanent extraordinary powers.

Like the war analogy, advocates of The Terror use the fact that the existence of COVID is considered an emergency along with kingly ‘state of emergency’ declarations to convince people that ‘Now is not the time for a public discussion.’ On the contrary, the greater the threat posed to society, the greater the need for a robust, open public discussion.

Politicians routinely exploit crises for their own gain. The bigger the (perceived) crisis, the bigger the opportunity to take advantage of their office for personal gain. Under the coronavirus state of emergency, politicians have done this by giving themselves the power of Pharaohs, passing through long-desired bills without opposition, and laundering trillions of dollars to their cronies as part of relief packages, vaccine contracts, face-mask procurement, etc. Once they retire from ‘public service,’ (if not sooner) you can bet they will be handsomely rewarded by their elite friends.

Declaring ‘war’ or a ‘state of emergency’ on a social issue, either officially or figuratively, has been a common tactic used by American Presidents to secure greater power since the administration of Franklin D. Roosevelt. According to political scientists David Davenport and Gordon Lloyd, the U.S. is in 28 active national states of emergency (2019), some of which have been in place for decades. Bill Clinton alone enacted 17 national states of emergency. “Never let a crisis go to waste,” as the old political adage goes.
